Soccer Jersey Size & Fit Guide
Nike, Adidas and Puma all run their own sizing — and player version kits fit very differently from fan version kits. Use the charts below to land the right size first time.
Player Version vs Fan Version fit
Player Version jerseys are cut slim and short — tight in the chest, tapered through the sleeve. Built for an athlete's frame.
Fan Version jerseys use a relaxed cut with a longer body and roomier sleeves. Safer for everyday wear.
Rule of thumb: if you're between sizes on a player version kit, size up. On a fan version, stick to your usual size.

Puma's player version (Ultraweave) and fan version jerseys share the same base sizing, but player version runs slightly slimmer through the body.
How to measure
- Chest: measure around the widest part of your chest, under the arms, with the tape level.
- Length: measure from the high point of the shoulder (next to the collar) down to where you want the jersey to end.
- Compare to the table for the brand you're buying — not your t-shirt size.
When to size up
- You're buying a player version kit.
- You prefer a relaxed fit over an athletic one.
- Your chest measurement falls at the top of a size range.
- You plan to layer underneath.
